As a Process Engineering Lead in our reputed electrical equipment manufacturing client, you will be responsible for overseeing all chemical and manufacturing processes related to bushing production. Your main duties will include evaluating and enhancing existing processes, developing process parameters and work instructions, and driving root cause analysis for process deviations and quality issues. Your role will also involve collaborating with R&D and Quality teams to introduce new materials and formulations, overseeing the scaling up of lab-developed processes, and implementing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives. It will be crucial for you to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all chemical processes and manage process documentation and audits for external certifications. To excel in this position, you should possess in-depth knowledge of chemical processes in transformer bushing manufacturing, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, proficiency in process simulation tools and statistical process control, and hands-on experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Excellent project management, team leadership, and mentoring abilities will also be key to your success in this role. The Sales Support Specialist position at Hitachi Energy's Indian Operation Center in India (INOPC) presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a global value chain. The primary objective is to optimize value for Hitachi Energy customers across various markets by sharing key business activities, resources, and expertise across geographic boundaries. In this role, you will specifically support the Transformer Components Business for the Korea Demand side Team throughout the Sales Process. Your responsibilities will include: - Writing value-added proposals for mainstream transformers components such as Tap changers and Bushings and ensuring they are accurately captured in current tools. - Reviewing and analyzing customers" specifications and requirements to determine the most suitable solution for proposals. - Identifying potential risks in bids, estimates, and quotations, and selecting products based on customer specifications. - Participating in Risk Reviews and internal negotiations, as well as checking stock availability for spare parts. - Preparing and submitting technical/Commercial tenders for both internal and external customers, and engaging in negotiation/clarification during the bidding process. - Developing Guaranteed Technical Particulars and interpreting manufacturing drawings for Tap changers and bushings in accordance with IEEE and IEC standards. - Cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with existing and new customers, while fostering cross-collaboration within Components factories and Sales teams. - Ensuring compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines, while upholding Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (an advantage), along with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Electrical Sales. Additionally, knowledge in Power Transformers and Transformer Components is essential. You must demonstrate the ability to manage high workload capacity by effectively setting priorities. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with peers, colleagues, superiors, customers, suppliers, and service providers. Proficiency in both written and verbal communication in Korean and English languages is a must.
