As a Research Scientist in Molecular Biology at Technoculture Research Pvt. Ltd., located within the BHU campus in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, you will play a crucial role in conducting innovative research in biotechnology. With a focus on gene expression, genetic modification, and cell signaling pathways, you will be responsible for designing and executing experiments to advance healthcare and enterprise solutions. Your expertise in molecular biology methods and cell culture techniques will be essential in contributing to the success of our cutting-edge projects. Your primary responsibilities will include designing vectors and primers, performing cell culture techniques such as transfection and viability assays, and utilizing core molecular biology techniques like DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, and Western blotting. Additionally, you will be expected to analyze experimental data, troubleshoot protocols, and maintain accurate documentation of experiments and results. Your role will also involve presenting research findings to internal teams, contributing to publication and patent efforts, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality control standards. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated expertise in cell culture techniques and molecular biology methodologies. Experience with PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, cloning, transfection, and transduction is essential, along with the ability to work independently on experimental design and data interpretation. Postdoctoral or industry research experience in cell and molecular biology, exposure to RNA-based technologies, and familiarity with microscopy and flow cytometry are considered advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, along with strong documentation and communication abilities. Being well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are essential attributes for success in this role.
