Training Delivery Manager (Tech)

As a Training Manager at Google Operations Center, you play a crucial role in ensuring that the technical workforce is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles and contribute to the success of GOC. Your responsibilities include: - Needs Assessment: Identify current and future technical skill gaps through surveys, interviews, and project analysis. - Training Strategy Development: Define technical training strategy aligned with business goals. - Curriculum Planning and Design: Oversee development of training curricula and content for various technologies. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with subject matter experts to align training with business objectives. - Training Delivery Management: Plan and execute training programs smoothly. - Instructor Management: Recruit, onboard, and manage internal trainers or external providers. - Communication with Employees: Keep employees informed about training schedules and opportunities. - Reporting to Leadership: Provide regular updates on training progress and outcomes. - Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external training vendors and ensure service quality. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications - 10-12 years of experience in tech program management across diverse tech stacks. - Understanding of software development methodologies, cloud platforms, data engineering, CRM systems, cybersecurity, and other programming languages. - Experience in at least one core technical domain. Preferred Qualifications - Masters/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - Experience in Curriculum Development and Knowledge of various training methodologies. - Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and training technologies. - Understanding of adult learning theories.
