Trainer Collective is looking for a dynamic intern to join our learning and development team! We are a learning and development company focused on empowering professionals through comprehensive online certificate programs. Role: Business Development & Community Engagement Intern Location: Mumbai /Thane Compensation: Competitive stipend as per industry standards Role Summary Join our growing learning and development team as a Business Development & Community Engagement Intern, where you'll play a crucial role in expanding our online certificate program reach while fostering strong student relationships. Success in this position means consistently converting prospects into enrolled students, maintaining high community engagement rates, and supporting our mission to enhance professional skills through quality education. This role directly contributes to Trainer Collective's growth by driving revenue through sales conversions and ensuring student satisfaction through active community management. Responsibilities Prospect Outreach & Conversion Conduct 50+ outbound calls daily to potential students interested in online certificate programs Present program benefits and features to prospects using consultative selling techniques Convert qualified leads into enrolled students through effective communication and needs assessment Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions in CRM system Community Engagement & Relationship Management Execute regular follow-up calls with enrolled students to ensure program engagement and completion Respond to student inquiries and provide support throughout their learning journey Facilitate virtual community interactions and encourage peer-to-peer learning Gather student feedback and communicate insights to program development teams Administrative & Reporting Functions Prepare daily and weekly reports on call metrics, conversion rates, and student engagement statistics Update and maintain accurate student and prospect databases Support team initiatives with documentation and process improvement suggestions Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless student onboarding Qualifications Experience Previous experience in sales, telemarketing, customer service, or business development roles Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and work in a metrics-driven environment Experience making high-volume outbound calls with measurable conversion results Skills Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi Strong interpersonal abilities with talent for building rapport quickly Active listening skills and ability to identify customer needs Resilience in handling rejection and maintaining positive attitude Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Basic understanding of CRM systems and sales processes Education Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field Additional certifications in sales or digital marketing preferred Personal Attributes Self-motivated individual with strong work ethic Target-oriented mindset with competitive drive Professional phone manner and clear speaking voice Adaptability to work in fast-paced startup environment Note : We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds including recent graduates, career changers, professionals on sabbatical, or those looking to re-enter the workforce .Candidates currently residing in Mumbai /Thane are only entertained .
