As a Research Associate at Monotype, you will play a crucial role in conducting marketing and technical research on prospective and current customers. Your responsibilities will include reviewing websites, mobile applications, electronic documents, and digital ads. Collaborating closely with Monotype Imaging Inc."s Legal team, you will organize research files and prepare reports on issues related to intellectual property infringement or potential licensing gaps. You will have the opportunity to engage in various tasks such as conducting brand marketing research, identifying digital offerings across different platforms, reviewing digital assets using software applications, and performing forensic investigations on IP infringement matters. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing research files using G-Suite applications, communicating results with the Legal team promptly, and preparing statistical data reports on brand font use audits. The ideal candidate for this role should possess basic knowledge of HTML, CSS & JS, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft & Google Office products, and the ability to learn quickly. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential qualities for this position. Additionally, proficiency in languages like German, Japanese, French, or Spanish would be advantageous but not mandatory.
