Trainee Agronomist – Soil & Plant Testing

Location: Gonikoppal, Karnataka

Eligibility: B.Sc / M.Sc in Agronomy or related field (Freshers Welcome)

Role Overview

Join our dynamic field team to support soil and plant testing, crop monitoring, and farmer advisory services across coffee, spice, and horticulture farms in and around Gonikoppal. Hands-on training provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and test soil and plant samples (e.g., NPK levels, pH)
• Assist with crop health assessments during farm visits
• Support senior agronomists in delivering basic agronomy advice to farmers
• Translate lab/test data into simple, practical guidance for field use

Requirements

• Degree in Agronomy or related field (B.Sc / M.Sc)
• Passion for on-field work and plant nutrition
• Willingness to travel and stay in rural farm areas
• Basic understanding of soil properties, pests, and crop care
• Working knowledge of English and Kannada (preferred)

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Internship or academic project related to plantation crops
• Experience using soil test kits or agriculture mobile apps
