SUMMARY Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Electrician Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Electrician with expertise in heavy vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate should possess practical experience in identifying and resolving electrical system issues in trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery, utilizing computerized diagnostic equipment. Requirements Requirements: Utilize computer-based diagnostic systems to identify electrical faults in trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. Repair and upkeep of electrical systems, encompassing wiring, lighting, and control units. Perform maintenance and repairs on truck air conditioning systems. Identify and resolve issues related to air pressure systems in trucks and heavy equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of all electrical components. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely and efficient repairs. Maintain accurate records of repairs and diagnostics. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience as an electrician in the heavy vehicle and equipment sector. Proficiency in utilizing computer diagnostic tools and software. Thorough understanding of truck and trailer electrical systems, including air conditioning and air pressure systems. Benefits Accommodation & Transport provided. Principal Accountabilities 1. Project Execution & On Time Delivery: a. Study work order based on specification, material and application. b. Check which product in matrix, which is the closest. c. Prepare vehicle architecture sheet & get the sheet approved from Design Manager & HOD d. Once vehicle architecture sheet is prepared collect the project costing sheet on estimates & budgets. e. Prepare new product development process flow check list & ensure that every process is captured. f. Prepare detailed design, models & production drawing. g. Look at manufacturing feasibility with Production Manager. h. Develop inspection check sheet along with QC Manager and Prepare BOM including SAP with part numbers. i. Take approval from customer, where ever is required. j. Prepare proposal drawing, BOM, Weight Cal., Make process wise BOM with PPC, On time ECR Implementation and Documentation work at EPDM. k. Resolve line issues in production and Arrange kick of meeting. 2. Customer Focus: a. Monitor performance of the products and achieve minimum field failures due to design defects and Work towards better performing products. b. CAPA preparation. 3. Design of New Products and Innovation: a. Research, Ideation, Benchmarking, VA VE and Design calculations and Development of new products b. Study & try to bring in new design, innovation, which will lead to value addition to company & customer. 4. Technical Collaboration: a. Certification & Regulatory activities documents preparation. b. ISO & IATF Audit documents preparation and Member of Inventory Auditing.
