As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure according to organizational requirements. Your tasks will include installing and configuring network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls. You will be monitoring network performance, system availability, and reliability to ensure smooth operations. In case of any network issues, you will troubleshoot and resolve them promptly, covering both hardware and software problems. Additionally, experience with Cisco FTD, FMC, and transformation projects like ASA to Palo Alto will be beneficial. On the technical front, you should possess a strong understanding of routing and switching protocols such as RIP, OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP. Familiarity with cloud networking concepts like Azure ExpressRoute and AWS Direct Connect will be advantageous. Hands-on experience with VPN technologies like IPsec, GlobalProtect, and Cisco AnyConnect is essential. Knowledge of ACLs, NAT, traffic shaping, and L3 VPN configurations will also be required. Moreover, your ability to monitor and correlate application-layer and network-layer metrics will play a critical role in ensuring optimal network performance. Being able to work in 24x7 support environments and participating in on-call rotations are part of the job requirements.,
