Maintenance Manager (JOB CODE - WBMMT) Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Experience 10 to 15 years relevant experience in maintenance of highway projects with 5-7 years as maintenance manger Job Description Plan, schedule, execute & assure quality of all inspections & maintenance during the O&M period. Ensure lane availability at all times. Meet the performance standards required by NHAI/IC. Vetting of all reports & ensuring the dispatch of the same in time. Ensure safety of the road user & meeting all safety requirements. Ensure payment to contractor in time guide & monitor the functioning of the maintenance executives. The O&M manager will be reporting to the project manager & will also interact with the independent consultant for routine requirements of O&M. Organize periodic review meeting with all contractors & pursue the decision taken. Highway supervisors. Perform the routine / periodic inspections & identify the maintenance requirement. Prepare inspection forms (daily/weekly/monthly) & inspecting the project facilities along with O&M contractors. Issue the inspection from/ check. Ensure lane availability. Responsible to maintain the carriageway pavement & road marking, signages/ road amenities/ fixtures & safety barrier, vegetation / landscape and turfing / slope protection, drainage along & across the project highway, inspection of all drainage structures / bridges & retaining wall, grade separator structures, toll plaza / other building of the project truck lay bay and bus shelters / other project facilities. Being a member of the ERP team as per the scheduled deployment defined by the project manager from time to time. Responsible for all design, specifications for material, work & equipments to be used in the maintenance works. Responsible for site investigation, inspection, testing, site evaluation. Coordinate all quality assurance & testing procedures. Coordinate periodic & major work programmer & its implementation. Plan, budget & monitor all periodic & major maintenance works. Responsible for patrolling the highway in shift basis.
