Traffic Engineer

In this role based at our Pune Office, you will provide technical expertise in traffic engineering and transport modeling for international projects. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in developing signing/marking and signal plans using AutoCAD/MicroStation software. - Analyze large-scale traffic datasets to support transport modeling and traffic engineering studies. - Contribute to transport modeling and traffic engineering reports such as TIA and Parking studies. - Manage your workload effectively to deliver outputs on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. - Participate in projects involving the development, review, and presentation of plans and policies for clients. - Support project managers in planning and coordination to achieve project goals. - Provide technical assistance during meetings with team members and clients. - Adhere to Stantec Core Values, Quality, Safety & Environment Systems, and Project Quality Procedures. - Proficiency in at least two software packages such as AutoCAD/MicroStation and VISSIM, SIDRA, or Synchro. - Experience working on international projects is advantageous. Software Expertise: - AIMSUN, VISSIM, VISUM, SIDRA, LINSIG, AutoTurn/Vehicle Tracking: Desirable - Microsoft Excel: Essential - AutoCAD/MicroStation: Essential Education: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; Master's degree preferred. - Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in consulting and engineering post-graduate education.
