Trading Systems Automation Specialist

As a Trading Systems Automation Specialist at Zanskar Research, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our cutting-edge trading infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to automate operational tasks, monitor the health of our trading systems, and ensure seamless communication with stakeholders regarding system performance. Your key duties will include continuously monitoring the trading infrastructure and servers, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure smooth operations. You will be tasked with developing scripts and automation solutions to efficiently manage components within our proprietary trading systems across various exchanges and asset classes. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our monitoring systems to oversee the performance of our trading platforms and servers. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, along with 2-4 years of experience in trade operations or systems administration, preferably in an HFT or financial trading environment. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Perl is essential, as well as strong Linux server administration skills and experience in performance tuning. Your ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will be key to your success in this position.
