Trading System IT Operations – Middle Level

Position Type : Full-Time (Shift-wise: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM / 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM / 11:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Work Days: Monday to Saturday

Reporting To: IT Operations Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a committed and technically skilled professional to join our IT Operations team at the middle level. This role focuses on managing and supporting the trading system infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the stock market domain with strong knowledge of exchange-related processes, connectivity, and trading system operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily IT operations of the trading system infrastructure.

• Monitor and support exchange connectivity (NSE, BSE, MCX, etc.).

• Coordinate with exchanges for file transfers, re-login issues, and trade feeds.

• Perform health checks of trading servers and related infrastructure during market hours.

• Handle escalations from the dealing desk and resolve system or connectivity issues.

• Execute SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data as required.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

• Maintain logs and documentation for daily operations, incidents, and system performance.

•Support exchange readiness, weekend DR/mock testing, and other scheduled activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 – 6 years of experience in IT operations within the broking/trading domain.

• Strong understanding of exchange-related processes (order routing, trade confirmation, etc.).

• Good knowledge of stock market operations and compliance norms.•Hands-on experience with exchange connectivity (Lease line, IML, NNF, BOLT, etc.).

• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, firewalls).

• Proficiency in SQL with ability to write and execute queries.

• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments.

• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot infrastructure and application-level issues.

• Flexibility to work in shifts and during critical business periods (month-end, BOD/EOD, etc.).
