Who we are looking for We seek a results-driven professional with a strong background in testing within large-scale, client-facing transformation programs. The Alpha Global Testing Practice focuses on strategy, planning, execution, and management of end-to-end platform testing during Alpha implementations. These programs span front, middle, and back office operations and involve complex data flows across State Street, Charles River Development, clients, and industry partners. Why this role is important to us Alpha is the industry's first global interoperable platform connecting the front, middle, and back office under one provider. Rigorous end-to-end testing of Alpha's applications, data, and workflows is essential to accelerate implementation timelines, ensure reliable delivery, and provide a seamless client experience. What you will be responsible for Represent State Street Alpha in client engagements, setting expectations and guiding the testing journey. Manage financial planning and resource allocation for the testing team. Lead strategic delivery and contribute to the implementation model. Oversee a global team of functional and automation testers. Drive adoption of best practices and testing standards. Develop and deliver internal and client-facing documentation (e.g., proposals, playbooks, test plans). Plan and execute testing activities, providing regular updates to senior leadership. What we value The successful candidate must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, and understand global portfolio management and financial servicing including portfolio construction, trading, compliance, and risk across all major asset classes. These skills will help you succeed in this role: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Deep understanding of portfolio management, trading, compliance, and risk across asset classes. Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence). Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and deliver programs effectively. Analytical and organizational strength in a fast-paced, global environment. Familiarity with electronic trading platforms and portfolio management theory is a plus. Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Management or Information System Management. 12+ years overall experience with 8+ years of financial and/or technology transformation experience. 5+ years leading project teams across internal and external stakeholders. Role & responsibilities: Key functions performed are: Proactively managing exchange/broker margin balances, Funding exchange/broker margin calls, Proactively managing affiliate margin balances/calls, Processing of margin movements for Listed Derivatives clients Investigate settlement breaks and issues. Critically analyse and improve on control/risk environment, Projects relating to collateral mgt, STP, automation. Daily/monthly report compilation and distribution, Interpretation and compliance with all exchange regulations relevant to margin management. Ensure Client money segregation and related tasks like LSOC Perform various Regulatory reporting as per required frequency Teamwork and flexibility (including shift flexibility) are key attributes. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and proactively with minimal management supervision. Having the ability to raise issues (escalate) and recommend solutions are core requirements. This role requires a team player who is able to balance and prioritise between day-to-day activities as well as contribute to projects that relate to the group. Projects can be global, regional or locally driven. He/She will be expected to explore and generate ideas that will contribute to controls improvement, reduce risk, increase automation and STP. The cash funding team will interact daily with Client Service, Trading desk, Reconciliations, Trade support, Risk and Technology.
