As a Category Management professional in this role, your primary responsibility will be to drive the growth of the Category and develop strategies to maximize its contribution to the brand. Key responsibilities include: - Finalizing MRPs and COGS to achieve the desired category's multiple - Collaborating with channels to decide MRPs/option plan numbers - Planning fabric vs styling for the entire range - Closing sourcing strategies with the sourcing team - Ensuring on-time execution of SS & AW Tradeshow - Assisting in design indents releases and Tradeshow buying - Collaborating with the Design Team to develop new products - Analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback - Collaborating with Fabric Sourcing, Garment Sourcing, and Quality Control teams to decide on qualified vendors/mills/quality parameters Qualifications and Education Requirements: - NIFT or other Fashion Institute degree - B.F.Tech/M.F.Tech/M.F.M/B.Tech (Textile) - 8+ years of work experience with a minimum of 5 years in Knits - Strong knowledge of Knits Fabric and expertise in knits costing - Interest in driving Product Development in coordination with Design - Experience in Category Management or Product Development - Preferred experience in Knits category in Indian Menswear Brands Preferred Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel up to an intermediate level - Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
