As a member of the Watch Team, your primary responsibilities will include analyzing trademarks of clients in comparison to those of opposition clients based on phonetic sound, visual appearance, and industry relevance. You will also be tasked with evaluating our clients" logos against those available globally through various web search engines and conducting a similar analysis for company names worldwide. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 1 year of relevant experience and hold a degree at the undergraduate or postgraduate level. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of the global marketplace across different industries and product categories. Keeping abreast of new product releases and industry trends is crucial, as is familiarity with trademark regulations and policies. Additionally, knowledge of language nuances, including US slang terminology, is advantageous, particularly if you have a background in a back-office process related to the US or UK markets.
