Trade Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide front-line support and troubleshoot issues for electronic and manual trading systems during trading hours.
• Monitor trading platforms, exchange connectivity, and data flows to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Collaborate with traders, developers, and IT teams to resolve incidents quickly and minimize disruption.
• Maintain system documentation, incident runbooks, and assist with system upgrades and new feature rollouts.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's or master's in STEM from a Tier II institution.
• Strong technical knowledge of Unix/Linux, SQL, scripting (Python/Shell), and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Understanding of financial markets, trade lifecycles, and asset classes.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication for coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
• Flexibility to work varied hours to support global markets.
