Quant Infra Developer

OptimusPrime Research is a high-frequency trading firm dedicated to developing innovative trading solutions and achieving superior returns. We seek a talented Quant Infra Developer with a strong domain understanding to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software components to connect to trading venues and disseminate market data.
• Continuously measure and optimize the performance of our trading infrastructure to ensure minimal latency and maximum execution efficiency.
• Develop tools and systems to monitor and manage risk exposures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Automate routine tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce human error.
• Work closely with quants, traders, and other team members to understand their requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure/connectivity development, preferably in a high-frequency trading environment.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in languages C++/Java/Python.
• Deep understanding of Linux operating systems and networking concepts.
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with market data feeds and trading connectivity to popular trading venues across the world.
• Extensive knowledge of OMS, FIX and/or other connectivity systems, coupled with an excellent knowledge of OOP, design patterns and Modern C++.
