Job Summary As a Trade Analyst within the Cash Pre-matching/Client Services team, you will be responsible for managing trade booking, allocation, and confirmation for EMEA client executions. Your role will involve ensuring accuracy and compliance in trade settlements across various markets. You will also collaborate with both internal and external counterparts to maintain stringent controls and promote process improvement. Job Responsibilities Execute trade booking, allocation, and confirmation for EMEA clients. Perform reconciliations between middle and back office systems. Update SSI across various systems. Ensure transactions are correctly matched for settlement. Maintain client accounts for SSI reference data. Ensure compliance with local jurisdiction rules. Participate in projects for system implementation and improvement. Conduct root cause analyses on issues or control gaps. Escalate urgent issues for swift resolution. Produce daily reports with commentary and action plan. Provide business control metrics to management daily. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Demonstrate a strong control mindset and business ethics. Possess in-depth experience with equity products and global markets. Communicate excellently with diverse stakeholders. Adapt to complex systems architecture easily. Drive global initiatives and affect change in large organizations. Deliver results through a "hands-on" approach. Thrive in high-pressure environments with time-critical deliveries. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Adequate knowledge of Cash Equities business, trade flows, and market nuances. Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms. The Jobholder report to VP Deputy Head Securities & Custody Operations, in terms of guidance and authority and is guided by them in terms of strategic issues, compliance, etc. However the jobholder should be able to independently interact with Internal/External parties and is expected to be aware of the changes in the regulation Your key responsibilities This specialized role entails day to day trade processing/settlements/FX/Cash processing. of DB Securities & Custody Operations team which supports local and offshore clients of the GTB Investor Services. Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas Co-ordinate the activities of the team related to trade processing and regulatory reporting Ensure quality and quantity of processing is maintained as per the client SLA Monitor volume inflow and ensure sufficient resource and workflow allocation in a justifiable manner Serve as technical operational expert for queries from clients/team members etc. Building a strong mechanism to take care of volume peaks during peak season Ensuring closure of tasks within prescribed SLAs Ensure strict adherence to all internal and external process guidelines including compliance and legal so as to build and maintain robust control environment. Identifying operational risks proactively and mitigating appropriately. Ensure adequate back-ups created for all critical positions and assist other teams during contingencies (Staff shortage, high volumes etc). Work very closely with the process owners/stakeholders and other internal clients for overall growth of the banks business Handling BAU to process FX/Cash processing for offshore and local clients, FX and Regulatory reporting for India market, break analysis and escalations, follow up with stakeholders. Your skills and experience Graduate (BA / BS / B.Com, etc.) with 5 to 8 year experience in the relevant field Exposure to the Indian capital markets, settlements or having custody background would be preferred Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills The candidate should be proficient in written and verbal communication.
