1. Hub Operations Management: Daily Operations: Managing the day-to-day activities of the hub, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Efficiency: Ensuring hub operations run smoothly and efficiently, adhering to company policies and standards. Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels, tracking stock, and minimizing discrepancies, shrinkage, and damages, according to Banyan Nation . Logistics and Dispatch Coordination: Planning, organizing, and coordinating dispatches to ensure timely delivery of goods. Route Optimization: Optimizing load management and route planning to improve delivery efficiency. 2. Team Management and Development: Supervision: Supervising and managing hub staff, including warehouse workers, drivers, and administrative personnel. Training and Development: Coaching and developing team members, providing guidance and support. Performance Management: Monitoring performance, providing feedback, and addressing any performance issues. 3. Safety and Compliance: Safety Regulations: Ensuring all hub operations comply with health, safety, and security regulations. Compliance: Adhering to company policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Zero Tolerance Policies: Implementing and enforcing Zero Tolerance Policies (ZTP) related to safety and security, according to LinkedIn India . 4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and operational throughput. Reporting: Preparing and reviewing performance reports for senior management. Process Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency. 5. Vendor Management: Relationship Management: Managing relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers. Performance Monitoring: Ensuring vendors meet performance standards in terms of service quality, cost optimization, and timely deliveries. 6. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Escalations: Acting as a point of contact for customer escalations and ensuring timely resolution of issues, according to LinkedIn India. Communication: Maintaining clear communication with team members, superiors, and customers to ensure transparency and alignment. Relationship Building: Building and maintaining relationships with local vendors and other stakeholders to support operations. 7. Financial and Administrative Duties: Budgeting: Managing hub budgeting and petty cash, ensuring accurate accounting and timely deposits.
