You have an exciting opportunity for a Mainframe Developer with at least 6+ years of development experience. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing mainframe projects throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This includes gathering functional and non-functional requirements, analysis, estimation, build, unit testing, System and Integration Testing (SIT), Regression testing, as well as providing pre and post-implementation support. As a Mainframe Developer, you will collaborate with various teams such as Application Development teams, Quality Assurance (QA), Business Analysts, Business and Operations teams, and Database Administrators (DBAs). It will be crucial for you to understand the existing business process flows and make necessary changes based on requirements. Additionally, you should have experience in DB2 load/unload processes and be proficient in writing SQL queries for data extraction for reporting purposes. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong command of COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, DB2 Stored procedures, SORT, MQ series, Change man/Endeavor, Trace master, Insync/FILEAID, and SPUFI. Preferred qualifications include a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in a technical field such as B-Tech, along with any relevant technical background.
