Job Title: Senior BIM Designer (Mechanical) Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 2 - 7 Years Educational Qualification: Engineering Graduate (Mechanical Preferred) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior BIM Designer (Mechanical) with expertise in Revit MEP and other relevant tools to support our MEP design projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC design and calculations, with additional capabilities in plumbing and firefighting system designs. Experience working on U.S.-based healthcare projects will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Utilize Revit MEP , Navisworks , AutoCAD 3D , Trace , and Trace 3D for MEP design and coordination. Perform heat load calculations and other mechanical engineering calculations (e.g. pump head, ESP calculations). Design and develop HVAC systems as per project specifications. Assist in basic Plumbing and Firefighting system designs. Prepare accurate and detailed Revit models for MEP systems. Independently handle MEP design tasks and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. Communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients , understanding their project requirements and ensuring expectations are met. Preferred Skills & Experience: Strong hands-on experience in Revit MEP (2 -7 years). In-depth knowledge of HVAC system design and engineering calculations . Familiarity with U.S. design standards and experience with U.S. healthcare projects is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
