This is a remote position. Role Summary: We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our team for a 6-month, remote position. You'll be the voice of Touratu, helping us share the incredible stories and places our users discover on the map. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who loves travel, storytelling, and creating engaging content. The below responsibilities would be taught and nourished throughout the time. Content Sourcing: Source engaging content ideas directly from the Touratu Social Map pins (travel stories, places, hotels, activities). Research trending travel news, experiences, and storytelling ideas to inspire fresh posts. Content Creation: Create and schedule social media posts, reels, and stories in line with our brand voice. Edit and repurpose travel videos/photos for short-form and long-form content. Highlight hotels, activities, and unique spots discovered through the map. Community Management: Track engagement and share weekly reports with actionable ideas. Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and adapt our content strategy to maintain relevance and drive engagement. Content Planning: Work with the team to schedule posts and campaigns, ensuring a consistent and exciting content calendar, Requirements Passion for travel, storytelling, social media trends and deep curiosity about new places and cultures. Basic skills in video editing, Canva, or similar tools. Ability to write engaging and simple captions in English. Creative thinker who can turn raw travel content into eye-catching posts. Self-driven and organized; able to work independently. Curious researcher, comfortable sourcing content from user posts and news online.
