Description
We are looking for a talented and motivated Test Automation Engineer to take on the responsibility of designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality of our software. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, develop and automate test cases, and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies. You will work hand in hand with software development teams to comprehend testing requirements, design and automate test cases, execute automated test suites, and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues. Additionally, you will collaborate with QA analysts to prioritize testing efforts, ensure comprehensive test coverage, identify opportunities for test automation, and develop strategies to automate repetitive tasks. Continuous evaluation and improvement of automated testing processes, along with providing insights and recommendations, will also be part of your role. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and have at least 5 years of experience in test automation. A strong understanding of automated testing, tools, and methodologies is essential, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#. Hands-on experience with test automation tools like TOSCA, Selenium, and UFT is required. Moreover, you should possess a good understanding of software testing principles, practices, and techniques, as well as knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, are also key requirements. Experience in the financial domain and knowledge of financial securities and trading principles are highly desirable.
