We are now looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Manager to amplify our mission, strengthen our brand presence, and drive meaningful engagement across platforms. Role Overview As the Social Media Manager, you will lead Torchit’s digital presence across multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and emerging channels). You will craft and execute strategies to engage diverse stakeholders – including people with disabilities, NGOs, corporates, government bodies, and global partners. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with Torchit’s mission, campaigns, and business goals. Identify key trends, tools, and platforms to maximize reach and engagement. Content Creation & Management Plan, create, and manage engaging posts, reels, videos, and stories that tell impactful stories of Torchit’s work. Work closely with design, video, and product teams to produce high-quality, inclusive content. Maintain a monthly content calendar. Community Engagement Foster meaningful conversations with our online community (beneficiaries, partners, donors, corporates, global followers). Respond to messages, comments, and queries with empathy and professionalism. Campaigns & Growth Run digital campaigns for awareness, fundraising, product launches, and CSR partnerships. Manage paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) when required. Track KPIs like reach, engagement, followers, and conversions. Analytics & Reporting Monitor performance metrics and prepare monthly reports. Use insights to refine content and strategy. Brand Building Ensure consistent voice and storytelling that reflects Torchit’s values: innovation, impact, and inclusion. Leverage awards, recognition, and partnerships to strengthen Torchit’s global brand. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in managing social media for brands/NGOs/startups. Strong knowledge of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube). Excellent storytelling, writing, and visual communication skills. Familiarity with design and editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.). Ability to analyze data and optimize performance. Passion for social impact, disability inclusion, and innovation.
