Title: Director, eCommerce Engineering Location : Chennai Type : Full Time/Hybrid We are looking for a Director, eCommerce Engineering to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of next-generation eCommerce platforms. The person will be responsible to build an entire team for the purpose. Responsibilities : Deliver innovative, complex features and enhancements for the eCommerce platform working cross functionally with product management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, operations, and other product development teams. Provide an architectural strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals by collaborating with product management, enterprise architecture, and business partners. Focus on providing eCommerce, system integration, and related technology expertise and thought leadership on design, architecture, and platform build out of the customer facing as well as backend solutions. Develop micro services for eCommerce platform public cloud and integrate third party solutions to build a composable architecture. Lead managers and engineers and interacts with other cross functional teams like Product Management, Project Management, and Operations teams etc. to develop innovative solutions that meet eCommerce market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles. Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies and the company's goals in addition to industry knowledge. Build a culture of engineering excellence (quality, performance, resilience, security, etc.) in your team and for the entire organization. Drive the definition and adoption of world class engineering, software development automation, testing and deployment processes. Basic Qualifications needed: 15+ years of experience in a related field OR a master's degree & 12+ years of experience in a related field. 10+ years of experience building and leading a high performing organization. Previous experience building and scaling large ecommerce systems. Front-end and back-end experience in building and scaling high performing ecommerce systems. JAVA, REACT, event driven methodology, no-sql databases technology skills. Exposure to AI-based technologies is a plus.

Title: Principal Engineer (Software Engineering) Location: Gurgaon Type: Full Time Mode: Office Exp Needed: 10+ years Joining: Immediate Responsibilities Own the technology direction and roadmap for the technology assets for commercial and speciality lines. Collaborates closely with the senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives and roadmaps that drive innovation, enhance efficiency, and contribute to maintaining the competitive edge in the market Own the Platform performance, scalability and other aspects. Serve as the technical authority and decision-maker for key architecture and design initiatives, especially those that are of high risk or new technology Hands on Keyboard technical proficiency. What you bring to the table: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Compute Science, Engineering or related field. 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in technical leadership role Strong understanding of software architecture principles and system design patterns and AI/ML concepts and frameworks Deep expertise with Angular, Java, Spring boot, Database (SQL & NoSQL) and experience with Cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and distributed systems Proven ability to design scalable, resilient systems in production environments Extensive knowledge of DevSecOps and observability tools. Proven leadership in mentoring software engineers and building global technical communities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to tackle complex technical challenges and to navigate ambiguity. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge the gap between software development teams and business leaders.
