The role involves leading the planning, analysis, and execution of transmission line design projects with a focus on ensuring technical excellence, compliance with international standards, and alignment with project timelines and budgets. Deep expertise in structural and foundation design, proficiency in industry-standard software, and the ability to guide the execution team through complex engineering challenges are essential for this role. You will spearhead the processing of survey data, define criteria for tower spotting in domestic tenders and projects, and prepare EPC-submitted detail and check surveys. Finalizing tower locations and types, including extensions, using PLS-CADD, conducting tower integrity checks, generating tower schedules, and route alignments will be key responsibilities. Additionally, you will create and review design packages, prepare Crossings Proposals of Powerline, Railways, Highways, River, and Forest for client submission. In terms of project optimization and profitability, you will lead post-bid design optimization, develop transmission line profiles and technical specifications, and manage crossing proposals. Operational oversight will involve overseeing O&M workstreams, generating As-Built documentation, validating technical design packages for ongoing maintenance and upgrades, and coordinating with external line owners for approval processes. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field and possess a minimum of 12+ years of experience in transmission line design. Proven expertise in leading large-scale design projects, delivering projects on time and within budget, and a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools are required. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and expertise in relevant software and safety regulations are also essential for this role.,
