Tooling Manager

As a Deputy Manager / Manager Mould Development at the R&D Centre in Noida, your role will involve a strong background in Tool Engineering, particularly in large-size injection mould development. Your proficiency in CAD software such as Pro-E/Unigraphics, along with knowledge of injection moulding processes and tool materials, will be crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in developing large-size injection moulds (1000T and above). - Expertise in mould design, development, and validation processes. - Proficiency in CAD tools like Pro-E (Creo) or Unigraphics (NX) for 3D modelling and design. - Strong understanding of tool design principles and practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in injection moulds during trials and production. - Good knowledge of tool steels, alloys, and their machining processes. - Familiarity with heat treatment and surface finishing techniques. - Sound knowledge of injection moulding machines and their operational parameters. - Experience in optimizing moulding processes for quality and efficiency. - Ability to estimate tool development costs and prepare budgets. - Exposure to vendor development and cost negotiations is a plus. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tool Engineering and injection mould development. - Proficient in CAD software like Pro-E/Unigraphics. - Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and tool materials. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
