Deputy Manager / Manager – Mould Development

Key Responsibilities:

1. Injection Mould Development:

• Hands-on experience in developing large-size injection moulds (1000T and above).
• Expertise in mould design, development, and validation processes.

1. Design Software Proficiency:

• Proficient in CAD tools such as

  Pro-E (Creo)

  or

  Unigraphics (NX)

  for 3D modelling and design.

1. Tool Design & Troubleshooting:

• Strong understanding of tool design principles and practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in injection moulds during trials and production.

1. Material & Machining Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of tool steels, alloys, and their machining processes.
• Familiarity with heat treatment and surface finishing techniques.

1. Process & Machine Understanding:

• Sound knowledge of injection moulding machines and their operational parameters.
• Experience in optimizing moulding processes for quality and efficiency.

1. Cost Estimation & Planning:

• Ability to estimate tool development costs and prepare budgets.
• Exposure to vendor development and cost negotiations is a plus.
