As a Setter at our Hydraulic Parts Manufacturing Company, your role will involve programming and setting up CNC/HMC/VMC machines to complete new products and different functions. You will be responsible for changing the tooling of the machines and observing machine operations to ensure accuracy and detect any malfunctions using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and dial calipers. In this position, you will adjust machine controls, including part processes, and verify first piece inspection using appropriate measuring instruments. It will be your duty to monitor the work in progress, conduct testing, and take critical measurements to identify any issues that require adjustment, making necessary changes promptly to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will be expected to undertake CNC/VMS/HMC inspections, maintain accurate records associated with your work, and complete tasks within allocated time limits. Ensuring compliance with quality standards, policies, procedures, codes, and legislation, including health and safety regulations, will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. This is a full-time position with benefits such as provided food, health insurance, paid sick time, and a provident fund. The work schedule includes day and morning shifts, with the opportunity for performance bonuses and quarterly incentives. The work location is in-person.
