Job Title: Assistant / Deputy Engineer- CNC Operations Job Description: We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in machine operation, part inspection, and interpretation of engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities: Operate CNC - VMC machines as per production requirements Read and interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings and part programs Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces for machining operations Perform machine zero setting, tool offset, and program calling Inspect parts using instruments like Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge Perform basic CNC programming and editing (Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controllers) Ensure proper cutting parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut) based on material and tool Monitor tool wear and perform tool changes as needed Complete machining jobs on time as per production plan Maintain 5S and adhere to workplace safety practices Coordinate with QC and Engineering for first-piece approvals Report machine issues or deviations in quality promptly Good knowledge of G-code/M-code Basic computer and documentation skills Must-Have Skills: CNC Operation Inspection Measurements Maintenance Drawing Interpretation Skills Preferred Skills: Experience in machining mould components / precision parts Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software (PowerMill, MasterCAM, NX) Understanding of ISO/TS quality system
