You should possess a good understanding of various hand tools, power tools, and machinery, along with basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders is essential. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are key qualities needed for this role. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using basic computer software for inventory management and record-keeping is required. Knowledge of safety procedures and practices is crucial to maintain a safe working environment. Physical capabilities such as lifting heavy objects, walking, and standing for extended periods are also necessary. In addition to Inventory Management, your duties will involve Tool Distribution, Routine Maintenance tasks like cleaning and sharpening tools, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining detailed records of tool usage and maintenance activities. Communication with staff, engineers, and other departments is important to ensure smooth toolroom operations. You will also be assisting with basic repairs and maintenance tasks on tools and equipment, as well as keeping the toolroom area clean, organized, and clutter-free. Additional responsibilities include receiving and shipping tools and equipment as needed. This is a Full-time, Permanent position with benefits such as leave encashment, paid time off, and Provident Fund. The work schedule includes Day and Morning shifts, with a yearly bonus.
