Experience - Minimum experience in credit risk analysis for 3-11 years in project finance across financial institutions (Banks/ NBFCs/ Rating Agencies) handling infrastructure sectors such as Power including Renewables (Solar/ Wind Power Projects), Ports, Roads, Power-Transmission, etc Experience in analysis of innovative structures within the infrastructure space such as Toll-Operate-Transfer projects, pooled structures in renewables/ roads space, infrastructure investment trusts, etc Candidates based out of Mumbai and having educational qualification of either a CFA or an MBA (2 years Full time course) Role & responsibilities - Comprehensive analysis of infrastructure companies/projects performance in assigned portfolio by assessing credit proposals, financial statements, projections, feasibility studies and other information to assess the credit worthiness of the entity Analyzing the business model, project dynamics identifying strengths, weakness, risks, understanding the revenue models and the corporate structure of the businesses Independently handling rating assignments for entities of varying sizes and preparing rationales for the ratings assigned Assign ratings as per Banks internal rating scale after thorough understanding of the borrower, industry and peer group analysis Prepare brief risk notes for credit proposals above a particular threshold which highlights industry risk, business risks of the borrower and transaction risks for the facilities sanctioned. TAT management Monitoring of Borrower Ratings Review of ratings basis any new developments in the company/industry Monitor the ratings through multiple surveillance frameworks in place. Ensure all the latest available information is factored in the ratings Periodic reviews and management presentations Review and analysis of industry/sectors assigned Read through industry reports by various agencies Attend webinars and seminars pertaining to the industry to keep ourselves abreast of the latest updates and trends in various industries.
