TNZ Cinemas is looking for a skilled and motivated Chinese Cuisine Chef to lead the preparation and service of high-quality Chinese food items in our cinema’s food court. This role is ideal for a chef who specializes in Chinese cooking and can deliver flavorful, cinema-friendly dishes such as noodles, fried rice, momos, and quick bites. The ideal candidate must balance authenticity with speed, presentation, and crowd-friendly portions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fry, fried rice, noodles, momos, soups, and snacks. Ensure all food items meet high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation. Modify and innovate dishes to suit cinema-goers—quick to serve, easy to eat, and visually appealing. Monitor kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, and follow all food safety regulations. Manage inventory for Chinese ingredients, sauces, and supplies—coordinate with suppliers as needed. Maintain consistency in portion control and food cost management. Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and F&B Manager to update or introduce new Chinese menu items. Supervise junior cooks or helpers assigned to the Chinese food section. Requirements: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in preparing Chinese cuisine in restaurants, food courts, or catering. Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques (e.g., stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying, wok handling). Ability to deliver tasty, fast, and visually presentable dishes in a high-traffic environment. Good understanding of food hygiene, safety standards, and kitchen operations. Team player with strong time management and multitasking abilities. Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or Chinese Cuisine (preferred, not mandatory). Familiarity with Indo-Chinese fusion dishes. Experience working in QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or cinema kitchen environments.
