Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finishing Line Manager to oversee the final stages of aluminium product manufacturing. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality finishing, timely delivery, and smooth coordination across departments including production, quality control, and logistics. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of the aluminium finishing line (anodizing, powder coating, brushing, polishing, etc.) Ensure products meet all quality and dimensional specifications before dispatch Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, and team supervision Monitor production KPIs (output, efficiency, wastage, downtime) and implement improvement strategies Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of finishing equipment Liaise with quality assurance to resolve defects and minimize rework/rejection Coordinate with production planning and dispatch teams to ensure on-time deliveries Implement and maintain safety standards and 5S principles Maintain accurate documentation and reports for production, quality, and inventory Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field 10+ years of experience in aluminium finishing operations Strong knowledge of surface finishing processes (powder coating, anodizing, etc.) Hands-on experience with production machinery and finishing equipment Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Familiarity with ISO standards and ERP systems is preferred Ability to analyse data and drive performance improvements
