Title UX Researcher

As a User Experience Researcher (UXR) at Google, your role is crucial in ensuring that the company's products prioritize user needs and experiences. With a focus on user-centric design, you will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to gather insights that inform and inspire product development. The ideal candidate for this position will hold a Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field, alongside a minimum of 4 years of experience in an applied research setting. Additionally, a Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field and experience working with senior leadership are preferred qualifications. In this role, you will partner with product managers, engineers, marketers, and designers to identify research needs and guide the creation of new products. By conducting various research methods such as field studies, interviews, surveys, and usability testing, you will uncover user behaviors and motivations. Your findings will be communicated through engaging insights and recommendations to the team, contributing to the creation of products that are both useful and delightful for users.
