Title GCP Specialist

As a highly skilled and experienced GCP Cloud Architect, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of cloud-based solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. Your deep understanding of cloud architecture, GCP services, and best practices will be instrumental in building scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments. Your hands-on experience with GCP tools, infrastructure automation, and cloud security will play a crucial role in the success of our projects. Your expertise in GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub will be key in designing and developing robust and scalable cloud architectures to meet business requirements. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or GCP Deployment Manager will enable you to implement and maintain infrastructure automation effectively. A strong understanding of IAM, VPC, firewall configurations, and encryption in GCP will be essential in ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud environments. Your programming skills in languages like Python, Go, or others will aid in automation and scripting tasks. Familiarity with data pipelines and services like Dataflow, Dataproc, or BigQuery will be beneficial in integrating and optimizing various GCP services. You will be responsible for leading cloud migration initiatives and optimizing existing GCP environments for cost, performance, and reliability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, data engineers, and application developers, you will deliver cohesive cloud solutions that meet industry security standards and compliance requirements. Your expertise in monitoring and observability tools, as well as problem-solving skills, will ensure the efficient operation of our cloud environments. Preferred qualifications include GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer), experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE), knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and exposure to AI/ML services like Vertex AI.
