Title GCP Engineer

As a highly skilled and experienced GCP Cloud Architect, your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. You should have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, GCP services, and best practices for building scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments. Your hands-on experience with GCP tools, infrastructure automation, and cloud security will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your GCP Expertise by demonstrating in-depth knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub. - Implement Infrastructure Automation using tools like Terraform or GCP Deployment Manager to ensure efficient management of resources. - Ensure Cloud Security by applying a strong understanding of IAM, VPC, firewall configurations, and encryption in GCP to maintain a secure environment. - Utilize your Programming Skills in languages like Python, Go, or others for automation and scripting purposes. - Apply your Data Engineering Knowledge by working with data pipelines and services like Dataflow, Dataproc, or BigQuery. - Implement Monitoring and Observability best practices by utilizing GCP monitoring tools effectively. - Demonstrate Problem-solving skills through strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. - Collaborate effectively with excellent communication and teamwork skills to work across different teams. In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will also be involved in: - Designing and developing robust and scalable cloud architectures leveraging GCP services to meet business requirements. - Leading cloud migration initiatives and optimizing existing GCP environments for cost, performance, and reliability. - Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager. - Integrating various GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions) into cohesive and efficient solutions. - Setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting using GCP-native tools like Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging. - Ensuring cloud environments adhere to industry security standards and compliance requirements by implementing IAM policies, encryption, and network security measures. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, data engineers, and application developers, to deliver cloud solutions. Preferred Qualifications: - GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer). - Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE). - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Exposure to AI/ML services like Vertex AI.,
