Title Elevator Technician

As an Elevator Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and performing regular maintenance checks on elevators. Your duties will include installing and repairing elevator mechanisms and electrical wiring to ensure proper functioning. In the event of an emergency call-out for elevator breakdowns, you will respond promptly to address the issue. Additionally, you will be required to replace faulty or worn-out components such as motors, switches, and control systems to maintain the elevator's optimal performance. It will be your responsibility to keep detailed service records of all maintenance and repair work carried out. You will also need to communicate effectively with building management regarding elevator performance and safety issues. Furthermore, you will play a key role in providing training and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.
