Title Associate Vice President

As an Associate Vice President at our esteemed client, one of the leading early-stage technology VC firms in India based in Bengaluru, you will be required to possess a strong passion for the venture capital and start-up ecosystem. Your work ethic should reflect high standards in terms of perseverance and commitment. Additionally, your role will demand strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Your key responsibilities will include spearheading deal flow generation initiatives and actively sourcing exciting start-ups. You will be tasked with reviewing and analyzing deals through secondary research, as well as understanding financial statements and MIS to derive meaningful insights for aligning the business story with its implementation. Engaging with entrepreneurs at various stages of the life cycle will be a crucial part of your role, along with creating investment theses on different sectors. Conducting business diligence during company evaluations and engaging with various stakeholders will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, you will be expected to establish thought leadership, build a network within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and support existing portfolio companies by adding value through growth and strategic initiatives. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree and an MBA from a reputed Indian or international institute. Good communication and networking skills will be considered advantageous in fulfilling the responsibilities effectively.,
