As a talented Python with AI/ML Developer at BMC, you will be working on complex and distributed software, playing a key role in designing, developing, and debugging software products. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing features and ensuring product quality for the IZOT product line, which focuses on BMCs Intelligent Z Optimization & Transformation products. You will have the opportunity to work on modernizing mainframe systems for some of the world's largest companies. By leveraging GenAI frameworks, RAG pipelines, and OpenAI Protocol, you will contribute to improving the developer experience, mainframe integration, application development speed, code quality, and application security while reducing operational costs and risks. To excel in this role, you should have 8+ years of experience in application development using Python/Fast API, Java, and RESTful services. A background in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields is preferred, along with experience in Full Stack Development, frontend development, and machine learning frameworks. Furthermore, familiarity with design patterns, object-oriented software development, high-performance code characteristics, SOLID principles of development, testing automation, and performance at scale will be beneficial.
