You will be joining V-TECH Renewables, a leading player in the renewable energy sector with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation since 2009. As an Electrical Design Engineer - Solar based in Pune, you will be responsible for various tasks related to electrical design, engineering services, and power distribution for solar projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting solar Generation estimation, Shadow analysis, Plant layout designing, pitch analysis, and PV system analysis. - Sizing equipment and making specifications for String, Inverter selection, cable sizing, fuse selection, and earthing system design. - Designing cable route, cable trench & equipment layout, IDT, 33 kV & 11 kV Bay design, CT/PT selection, VCB selection, and Plant Protection system. - Preparing DPR, Bill of Material, costing sheet of SPV system. - Ensuring compliance with IEC, BIS, and IS standards for solar systems and conducting Site and factory acceptance testing. - Overseeing the smooth & efficient operation of the Design & Engineering department. - Collaborating with customers/consultants for queries, presentations, clarifications & approval of designs. - Participating in customer/consultant/designer meetings as required. - Coordinating with internal functions like Business Development, Projects, and SCM for technical specifications & queries, BoQ, drawings, etc. - Reviewing & regularizing technical deviations, design change requests raised by contractors/vendors/consultants. - Establishing and maintaining a document library & database for all designs, drawings, and project-wise technical data. - Demonstrating familiarity with IEC & IS codes & practices for designing Electrical & Civil Mounting Structures. - Ensuring timely execution of all design work.,
