Float RFQs, analyse quotations, conduct rate comparisons, negotiation for optimal pricing & terms. Develop & maintain a procurement tracker for all project-wise requirements ensuring cost, quality, & timeline adherence. Prepare Purchase Orders (PO), Work Orders (WO), and maintain proper documentation for audit trails. Coordinate with project teams to forecast material requirements & ensure timely delivery at project sites. Evaluate vendor performance periodically based on quality, timeliness and cost efficiency. Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply chains & address any disputes or delivery issues proactively. Support the finance team with timely invoice processing, GRNs and documentation for payments. Requirements Bachelors' degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field. 2-5 years of relevant procurement experience/preferably in construction/, interiors, or real estate domains. Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Familiarity with materials used in commercial office fit-outs & basic technical understanding of MEP/interior works. Experience in ERP or procurement tools (Zoho/QuickBooks/SAP, etc.) is a plus. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. The Role & Responsibilities Operations & Technical Management Oversee entire plant operations including manufacturing, design, and quality control functions Ensure on-time delivery of products through effective production planning and execution Lead new product development initiatives aligned with market requirements Provide technical guidance to design and production teams Implement quality control standards and continuous improvement processes Develop accurate product cost estimations and pricing strategies Design and implement internal control systems for operational efficiency Monitor and control manufacturing costs and overhead expenses Ensure all products meet industry standards and customer specifications Drive operational efficiency and productivity improvements Business Development & People Management Interact directly with key customers to understand requirements and close purchase orders Develop and maintain relationships with government clients Navigate public sector procurement processes effectively Build team spirit and foster a culture of innovation and accountability Implement effective performance management systems Manage manpower planning, recruitment, and training initiatives Represent the company at industry exhibitions and customer meetings Contribute to business growth strategies and expansion plans Prepare and present regular performance reports to top management Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field (required) Minimum 10+ years of experience in manufacturing , specifically in conveyor systems components such as Conveyor Idlers, Pulleys, Rotary Air Lock Valves, Screw Conveyors, or Belt Conveyors Proven track record of managing end-to-end manufacturing operations Experience in dealing with government clients and public sector undertakings Strong technical knowledge and leadership abilities Excellent communication and negotiation skills Analytical mindset with problem-solving approach Result-oriented with strong business acumen
