As a Sr. Engineer - System Integration at Hero Motocorp in Jaipur, RJ, your main responsibility will be to lead the system integration team both from a technical and management perspective. You will be involved in defining various electrical/electronic/mechanical interfaces, schematics, and architecture, as well as developing EV & ICE projects. Your role will also include supervising and leading cooperation projects, optimizing cross-platform solutions, and ensuring quality delivery within committed timelines. Your typical day as a System Integration Engineer will involve steering the technical development of EV/ICE projects, coordinating with team members for alignment, making decisions on board-net usage, developing platform approaches, participating in architecture discussions, and tracking project timelines. You will also be involved in defining requirements, coordinating resources, preparing quality gates, and participating in various documentation reviews. Additionally, you will act as a trouble shooter and field support engineer, resolving SW issues with vehicles during development, making root cause analyses, coordinating with validation teams, and supporting plant, quality, and service teams for troubleshooting. You will also be required to communicate effectively, create flowcharts, and diagrams, as well as have expertise in system level DFMEA and communication matrix definition within the electrical system. To qualify for this role, you should have a BTech/MTech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Automotive, or equivalent, along with experience in electrical architecture of EV, ICE vehicles, SW development, project management, testing, problem-solving, and coordination of EV projects. You should also possess behavioral skills such as innovative thinking, leadership, and intercultural skills.
