Tig Welder

As a skilled TIG Welder, your main role will be to perform high-quality Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding on metal components according to drawings and specifications, ensuring strength, accuracy, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, and alloy metals - Read and interpret engineering drawings, WPS, and welding symbols - Set up welding equipment, select electrodes, filler rods, and shielding gas - Ensure weld quality, penetration, and finish as per specifications - Inspect welded joints and rectify defects like cracks, porosity, or distortion - Carry out grinding, finishing, and polishing of welds if necessary - Follow safety procedures and PPE guidelines at all times - Maintain welding tools, machines, and work area (5S) - Coordinate with fabrication and quality teams for inspections - Meet daily production targets and timelines Qualifications: - ITI / Certification in Welding or relevant trade Experience: - 1 to 5 years of experience as a TIG Welder - Experience in fabrication / manufacturing industry preferred Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of TIG welding techniques - Experience with thin and precision welding jobs - Understanding of welding defects and corrective actions - Ability to use measuring tools and gauges - Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Materials Knowledge (Preferred): - Stainless Steel (SS), Mild Steel (MS), Aluminum - Sheet metal & structural components Other Requirements: - Ability to work in shifts if required - Physically fit for shop-floor work - Team-oriented and quality-focused In this role, you will be expected to work full-time and the work location will be in person.
