Ticketing Agent

You should be familiar with Amadeus (GDS) and hold a graduate degree in any stream with relevant qualifications in Tours and Travel. You must possess experience in the field along with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility in work hours is essential. Your role will involve utilizing analytical skills to compare ticket and hotel rates across various platforms and make informed decisions. Being internet savvy and familiar with travel portals is a must. Your responsibilities will include handling Foreign Exchange and Travel Insurance, managing web check-ins and seat allocations, as well as booking train tickets. You should be adept at negotiating with travel agencies, hotels, and cab vendors for changes in flights, hotel extensions, and additional vehicle requirements during official trips. Additionally, you will be expected to attend to telephone calls promptly, manage daily mail and deliveries, update appointment calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate with the Accounts team. Maintaining an accurate filing system and updating company notice boards with relevant information will also be part of your duties.
