Job Description: The Branch Manager will oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining smooth workflow within the travel agency. The role involves managing a team, handling client queries, developing business strategies, and maintaining relationships with vendors and partners in the travel industry. Customer service: Providing exceptional customer service to maximize sales and profitability. Branch operations: Ensuring the branch runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Staff management: Supervising, coaching, and developing staff. Compliance: Ensuring that the branch adheres to statutory quires and travel industry related compliance. Marketing: Promoting the business to new or niche markets. Budget management: Managing budgets and maintaining financial records. Performance and productivity: Delivering and exceeding branch performance and productivity. Business plan: Creating and implementing a business plan and strategy. Candidate Profile: Good communication skills Sales and customer-service skills Diplomacy and Tact Commitment to people management The ability to lead and motivate a team Sound judgment with attention to detail Strong organizational skills Resilience to cope with long hours and pressure at peak times A genuine interest in travel An awareness of the current trends in travel industry (e.g. sustainable tourism) and knowledge of the competitors and good connect with Travel & Airline industry. Requirements: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in a travel company, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Strong understanding of the travel and tourism industry. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency in travel booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism, or related field preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience with travel software and CRM systems. Multilingual abilities a plus.
