Description Lead the execution of global Material Compliance processes, including the introduction, coordination, and alignment of suppliers and plants with global compliance policies (RoHS, REACH, EU WFD, Conflict Minerals & others). Onboarding the new 3 rd party service provider. Setting up suppliers, leading campaign runs, data collection using 3 rd party platform. Act as the primary driver for material compliance initiatives resulting from customer requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on all regulatory compliance, including providing guidance and leadership on compliance projects. Coordinate with global suppliers and internal stakeholders to gather Bill of Materials (BOM) data and ensure full regulatory compliance. Issue certificates (RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, EU WFD) to customers, maintaining consistent communication and updates on compliance status. Support and drive continuous improvement of global compliance processes by partnering closely with the Global Material Compliance Manager. Lead audit and risk assessment activities for suppliers, driving performance improvements through supplier development initiatives. Manage project progress using project management tools, ensuring shortened lead times and the effective completion of key milestones. Conduct compliance audits and provide technical support to both internal and external stakeholders, leading campaigns for non-responding suppliers. Job Description Position Summary: Responsible for doing complex Structural Linear/Non-Linear/Dynamic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS requiring a deep understanding of static and dynamic structural principles for in-depth support to new product development, VAVE projects, failure analysis and Order/Offers projects. Major Responsibilities Execute the Structural Linear/Non-Linear/Dynamic Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS WB for Power transmission products like Couplings, Bearings, Gearings, Clutches & Brakes and Electric motors with minimum reviews. Majorly supporting assembly simulations. Understanding customer needs, define and document scope and approach with appropriate loads and boundary conditions and appropriate acceptance criteria. Planning/executing of FEA requests following proper reviews and giving feasible solutions assuring high quality and timely deliverables with minimum reviews. Automation of repetitive FE tasks. FE results post processing & result interpretation and creating good technical reports. Carry out analytical calculations using engineering fundamentals, perform sanity checks on analysis results, develop calculators if required and interpreting/comparing Test vs FEA results. Work with different Global Engineering teams with regular communications on project progress. Arrange and lead meetings for project/report reviews. Developing new capabilities and developing/refining FEA methodologies for various product lines and documenting them. Partial involvement in testing of Power transmission products.
