Third Party Inspector

Role & responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, verification, and certification as per

  ASME, IBR, PESO, API

  and client specifications
• Conduct

  in-service and fabrication inspections

  for boilers, pressure vessels, piping, and related systems
• Review design drawings, WPS/PQR/WQT, NDT reports, and test certificates
• Ensure compliance with

  ASME Section I, VIII, IX

  ,

  IBR

  and

  PESO

  regulations
• Coordinate with clients, manufacturers, and statutory authorities for inspection & certification activities
• Prepare and maintain

  inspection reports, data sheets, and certificates

• Support internal/external audits and ensure adherence to the

  Quality Management System

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of

  ASME Codes, IBR, PESO, and API Standards

• Expertise in

  pressure equipment, welding, fabrication, and NDT

• Good communication and report writing skills
• Detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and customer-centric
• Ability to work independently and within a team
  

Preferred Background:

• Hands-on inspection experience in

  boilers, pressure vessels, and piping systems

Experience:

Third Party Inspection (TPI)

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  

• Mandatory Certification (anyone):

  ASME Authorized Inspector (AI) National Board certified IBR Competent Person (CP) / Recognized Boiler Inspector PESO Authorized Inspector / Competent Person
