Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Social Media Intern to join our marketing team for a 2-month paid internship. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing across both our transformative EdTech initiatives and innovative technology products. Your performance during this period will directly lead to a potential full-time position. Key Responsibilities: As a Social Media Intern, you will play a pivotal role in amplifying the voice of both Thinking Code Education and Thinking Code Technologies. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to: Content Creation & Management: Drafting compelling and concise social media posts, captions, and stories for platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram. This includes developing content for Thinking Code Education's transformative courses and student successes, as well as promoting Thinking Code Technologies' diverse product portfolio, which includes CSR Ventures, Verifiable Credential Products, and Product Pods . Website Content Support: Assisting with content updates on the company website (Thinking Code Education), which may involve working with HTML and CSS to ensure our online presence is always fresh and engaging. Campaign Execution: Supporting the planning and execution of social media campaigns that promote our educational programs, product launches, and broader company initiatives across both entities. Community Engagement: Monitoring social media channels, interacting with our audience, and fostering a vibrant online community for both Thinking Code Education and Thinking Code Technologies. Performance Monitoring: Tracking social media metrics and contributing to reports on campaign effectiveness for all digital activities. Adaptability & Learning: Actively learning about our curriculum, technology products, industry trends in EdTech, AI/ML, Java, and software development, and quickly adapting to new digital marketing tools and strategies. We’re looking for someone who can work directly with the CTO-Founder to build visibility, create conversations, and convert engagement into qualified leads, partnership calls, and POCs. This role combines: 🧭 Strategic content 🤝 Relationship building 📈 Lead research & outreach 🎥 Simple, clean storytelling (text > design) What You Will Do Plan, draft, and post 1–2 insightful LinkedIn updates per week from the Founder’s profile and company page. Maintain a lightweight content calendar : stories, product updates, case studies, culture moments. Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify 20–40 relevant leads/week (CTOs, Innovation Heads, AI leads, Strategy heads, etc.). Send warm, personalized connection messages (not mass spam). Actively engage on relevant posts (commenting thoughtfully, not “nice post”). Maintain & track pipeline using Notion / HubSpot . Create simple visuals in Canva and short 30–60 sec clips when needed. Support occasional webinars, partner presentations, and demo flow. Who You Are Excellent communication and writing ability (you can summarise ideas cleanly). Comfortable working closely with a senior founder — this is not a coordinator role. 1–4 years in B2B marketing / LinkedIn management / SDR / community building. Fluent with: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Canva, Google Sheets. Understands how to build trust-based, not transactional outreach. Bonus / Nice-To-Have Familiarity with AI / SaaS language (you don’t need to be technical, but must be curious). Knows tools like Shield, Taplio, or other LinkedIn analytics. Can storyboard short narrative-based content clips. What Success Looks Like in 6 Months 3× growth in Founder’s LinkedIn engagement and reach. 20+ new qualified conversations per month (~2–3 POCs/quarter). A predictable, repeatable content + outreach rhythm in place. Founders spend more time in strategic and product conversations , less in discovery outreach. Reporting & Structure Direct reporting to CTO-Founder Weekly 1:1 for direction, priorities, and metrics Outcome-focused. Low bureaucracy. High clarity.
