Roles and Responsibilities - Shall be responsible for the shift operation of thickener, filter presses and ceramic disc filter - Shall be responsible for the safety of employees and workers working with him. - Coordination and communication with the operation and mining teams for feeding the equipment and the disposal of waste. - Maintenance of dewatering area equipment. - Shift end reporting to managers - SAP entries regarding operation and maintenance. - Manpower management during the shift. - Suggesting points of improvement in safety, process and maintenance. - Identification of training needs for self and team members. Desired Candidate Profile Min. Experience: B.Tech- (Mechanical) having minimum 3 to 5 Years of experience in larger filter press in Iron Ore, Alumina, Zinc, Gold or similar industries. Any Other Skill / Attribute: - Must be familiar with operation and maintenance of filter presses, disc filters and thickeners - Should have knowledge of maintenance concepts - Knowledge of SAP PM modules - Experience in working with permits and LOTO systems. - Daily, weekly and monthly reporting and analysis. Personality Traits: - Good Communication Skills - Keen Listener - Committed to meet deadlines - Efficient in man management
